Apprentice Carpenter/Laborer

Little Feet Renovation, Inc. is looking for an apprentice-level builder/carpenter (1–2 years of experience) to work closely with our established team of Creatives on residential construction and remodeling projects. This full-time growth opportunity suits a candidate who is willing to learn, has a creative background, and wants hands-on experience in building and remodeling. Wage is dependent on experience. *Key Responsibilities* * Assist lead carpenters and Creatives with framing, finish carpentry, and remodeling tasks * Perform demolition, site preparation, and job-site cleanup * Measure, cut, and install building materials under supervision * Load, transport, and organize tools and materials between job sites * Follow Cal/OSHA and company safety protocols at all times * Support senior staff on sculptural and architectural design elements * Maintain tools and equipment in safe working order * Communicate professionally with clients and team members on site *Physical Requirements & Essential Functions* * Regularly lift and carry up to 50 lbs * Stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders for extended periods * Work outdoors in varying weather conditions * Safely operate hand and power tools * Travel between job sites across the Bay Area (San Francisco, Pacifica, South San Francisco, San Bruno, Half Moon Bay, and Hillsborough) as a regular part of the job *The Position* Our ideal candidate is an apprentice with 1–2 years of experience in the trades. We strongly encourage City Build pre-apprentices, Theater Tech professionals, and Sculpture and Art majors to apply. Spanish-speaking skills are a plus. * We offer the opportunity to build upon or develop a new skill in the construction industry. * We look to collaborate with artists interested in expanding their audience and knowledge of artistry in the industrial sector. This role requires regular travel between job sites throughout the Bay Area, and reliable transportation is necessary to meet that requirement.
