Apprentice Electrician

The Apprentice Electrician will assist in various electrical tasks on construction sites, focusing on both commercial and industrial projects. This role offers the opportunity to develop essential skills and knowledge necessary for a successful career in electrical work. *Responsibilities* * Assist licensed electricians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. * Work on high voltage and low voltage electrical systems as directed. * Utilize tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and power tools safely and effectively. * Support the team in performing electrical work on construction sites, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. * Participate in frame carpentry tasks as needed to support electrical installations. * Follow instructions to complete wiring layouts, conduit installations, and circuit connections. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment at all times. * Learn to troubleshoot electrical issues under supervision and apply problem-solving skills. *Requirements* * Basic understanding of electrical systems and components is preferred. * Experience or coursework related to construction or electrical work is a plus. * Familiarity with power tools and safety practices on job sites. * Ability to work effectively in a team environment while following instructions from senior electricians. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. * Willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges within the electrical trade. * Must be able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods as required by job duties.
