Assist lead HVAC technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial heating, cooling, and ventilation systems. Attend and actively participate in apprenticeship classes, achieving passing grades in both classroom and hands-on training assessments. Learn and apply proper use of tools, equipment, and safety procedures on job sites. Measure, cut, and assemble ductwork, piping, and related components, supporting setup, wiring, and testing of HVAC units. Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance under guidance, including electrical, refrigerant, and airflow systems. Maintain clean, organized work areas, tools, and vehicles while adhering to company quality and safety standards. Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and customers, providing professional, friendly service. Participate in ongoing hands-on training to build technical knowledge and grow toward becoming a licensed HVAC technician. Work closely with experienced technicians to gain practical field experience, develop technical skills, and contribute to safe, efficient, and high-quality job performance.
