Apprentice Plumber

*Overview* *Locally owned and operated company with over 35 years of experience operating on Aquidneck Island seeking a plumber’s helper with "EXPERIENCE" or a licensed plumber. * *\*\* Please do not apply if you have zero plumbing experience. Unfortunately, this is not a job we are training for. \*\** *Description*: To efficiently undertake a variety of plumbing tasks ranging from fixing leakages to installing pipes and heating, and all phases of plumbing and heating. A successful plumber must have a thorough knowledge of all phases of plumbing and heating. *Responsibilities* * Ability to communicate effectively with fellow employees. * Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring) * Install and maintain water supply systems * Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks) * Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc. *Requirements* * A driver's license is a must for this position. * High school diploma or equivalent; technical coursework or prior construction experience is a plus. * Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and understanding technical specifications. * Ability to use hand tools, power tools, pipe threading equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively. Pay: From $26.18 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Benefits: * Paid time off Work Location: In person
