Apprentice Plumber

*Job Overview* DH Construction Inc. is an insurance-related reconstruction business for residential and commercial properties specializing in Large-Loss Claims. Our full-time team of dedicated staff, including 50+ in-house skilled trades people, handle over 300 projects a year, providing us the expertise, resources, and experience to respond quickly and take charge of your damaged property efficiently. We are looking for a motivated *Apprentice Plumber with approximately two years of plumbing experience* to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a solid foundation in plumbing and wants to continue developing their skills while working on residential and commercial reconstruction projects. Job Responsibilities * Assist with plumbing installation, repairs, replacements, and troubleshooting. * Install and repair water supply lines, drain lines, fixtures, faucets, toilets, and other plumbing components. * Assist with rough-in plumbing and finish plumbing work during reconstruction and remodeling projects. * Identify plumbing issues and communicate findings to the lead plumber or supervisor. * Read and follow basic plumbing plans, specifications, and work instructions. * Use plumbing tools and equipment safely and properly. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. * Coordinate with other construction trades to keep projects moving efficiently. * Follow building codes, safety requirements, and company procedures. * Provide professional and courteous service when working in occupied homes or commercial properties. * Complete assigned tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and workmanship. Qualifications * Approximately *2 years of plumbing experience* in residential, commercial, remodeling, or construction environments. * Basic understanding of plumbing systems, materials, tools, and installation methods. * Ability to use common plumbing tools and equipment. * Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn. * Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team. * Good communication and problem-solving skills. * Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record, if driving is required for the position. * Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting materials, standing, bending, kneeling, and working in confined spaces when necessary. * Willingness to follow all job-site safety procedures. Preferred Qualifications * Experience with residential or commercial reconstruction, restoration, or remodeling. * Familiarity with plumbing rough-ins, fixture installations, and repairs. * Plumbing apprenticeship training or related vocational education. * Knowledge of applicable plumbing codes and permitting requirements.
