Carpenter Apprentice

*Overview* Join our dynamic construction team as a Carpenter Apprentice and kickstart your career in the skilled trades industry! You will work closely with experienced carpenters to develop your skills in blueprint reading, framing, trim installation, and more. Whether you're just starting out or looking to expand your construction expertise, this position provides a solid foundation for a rewarding career in carpentry. *Duties* * Assist senior carpenters with measuring, cutting, and assembling wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. * Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution. * Prepare job sites by setting up scaffolding, measuring spaces, and ensuring all safety protocols are followed during heavy lifting and material handling. * Support the installation of doors, windows, siding, drywall, trim, stucco, and fixtures in residential settings. * Help with rebar installation, plastering, caulking, tile laying, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and other restoration industry tasks as needed. * Operate woodworking machines safely to cut and shape wood materials for framing and finishing projects. * Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris responsibly, and adhering to power tool safety standards. *Qualifications* * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights or in confined spaces when necessary. * High School Diploma or GED * Strong attention to detail with good communication skills to follow instructions accurately. * A proactive attitude toward safety protocols and teamwork on busy job sites.
