Carpenter/Carpenter Apprentice

*Carpenter/Carpenter Apprentice (Manhattan KS)* CBS Door & Hardware is seeking Commercial Door Technicians and Installers for commercial doors in the Manhattan, KS area. If you have experience working with commercial doors & hardware, please apply! Job Responsibilities: * Install and/or repair a wide range of commercial door and door hardware * Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services * Track and maintain job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner * Operate in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties * Other duties as assigned * Some travel and over night stays (typically no longer then 5-6 days) Job Qualifications: * High School Diploma/GED (Preferred) * Experience in a similar role or one that required a mechanical aptitude preferred * Ability to safely lift up to 85 pounds * Ability to work at heights and use a ladder * Must possess a valid driver’s license and good driving record * Reliable form of transportation * Must pass a drug test * Must pass a background check * Some travel (hotel, airfare, rental, per diem covered) Job Type: Full-time Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Schedule: * 4 - 10 hour shift * Monday thru Thursday, with an occasional Friday Work Location: In person Job Type: Full-time Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * Health savings account * Life insurance * Paid time off * Profit sharing * Retirement plan * Vision insurance Ability to Commute: * Manhattan, KS 66502 (Required) Ability to Relocate: * Manhattan, KS 66502: Relocate before starting work (Required) Willingness to travel: * 50% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
