Carpenter / Carpenter's Helper - Residential Construction (Training Available)

NJ&J Builders is a design-build contractor building custom coastal homes and renovations in South County. We're hiring at two levels: Entry level ($22-25/hr): Little or no experience OK. Must be reliable, on time, have a strong work ethic, and want to learn the trade. We will train you. Experienced ($26-32/hr): 3-5 years of residential framing, finish, or general carpentry. Can read basic plans and work independently on assigned tasks. What we're looking for: dependable, fits in with a small crew, reliable transportation and valid driver's license, basic hand tools (or willing to get them), able to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors. OSHA 10 required (class completed once hired) We're also open to experienced independent carpenters and subcontractors with their own tools and liability insurance, paid by the job.
