What You'll Be Doing As a Carpenter Helper, you will work alongside experienced carpenters and construction professionals on a variety of projects. *Your daily responsibilities will include:* * Assisting carpenters with framing, remodeling, renovations, and new construction projects. * Measuring, cutting, and preparing lumber and other building materials. * Helping install walls, subflooring, doors, windows, trim, cabinets, and other construction components. * Assisting with demolition and rebuilding damaged or outdated properties. * Loading, unloading, transporting, and organizing construction materials. * Preparing job sites and ensuring tools and materials are ready for daily work. * Safely operating hand tools and approved power tools after proper training. * Maintaining clean, organized, and safe work areas. * Protecting existing structures and finished surfaces from damage. * Assisting with final repairs, punch-list items, and project cleanup. * Working with the Project Manager and experienced carpenters to keep projects moving forward. * Following all company safety procedures and participating in required safety training. What We're Looking For We want someone who is dependable, motivated, and ready to work! *Required Qualifications:* * Strong work ethic and willingness to learn. * Reliable attendance and ability to arrive at work on time. * Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team. * Basic knowledge of construction tools and materials, or willingness to learn. * Ability to read a tape measure or willingness to develop that skill. * Ability to perform physical construction work, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to assigned job locations. *Preferred but Not Required:* * Previous construction, carpentry, remodeling, or maintenance experience. * Familiarity with hand and power tools. * Basic knowledge of framing, drywall, flooring, or finish carpentry. * Trade school or construction-related training. *No extensive carpentry experience required!* We are willing to train the right person who shows initiative, dependability, and a desire to learn.
