East Texas - Welder Helper Position

Job Title: Welder Helper - (East Texas) Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and motivated Welder Helper to join our team Genesis Endeavors, LLC company in East Texas. This position involves assisting welders with tasks related to pipeline fabrication, installation, and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong work ethic, safety awareness, and a willingness to learn pipe welding processes. You will be expected to work outdoors in varying conditions, supporting welders and ensuring job sites are safe, clean, and efficient. Key Responsibilities Assist welders in the setup and preparation of welding equipment and materials for pipeline construction. Support welders during welding operations, including holding materials, cleaning weld areas, and applying grinders or tools as needed. Transport welding materials, tools, and equipment to job sites. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools. Ensure adherence to all safety policies and procedures on the job site. Assist with measuring and cutting pipes or materials under supervision. Perform site preparation, cleanup, and removal of debris and hazards. Follow directions from welders, supervisors, and team leads. Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively. Perform other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to perform physical labor including lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, and bending for extended periods. Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Commitment to workplace safety and proper use of PPE. Reliable transportation to job sites throughout East Texas. Authorized to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in welding, construction, pipeline, or general labor roles. Basic understanding of welding tools and procedures. OSHA or relevant safety certification.
