Position Summary Stith Electric LLC is seeking motivated, dependable, and safety-conscious Electrical Apprentices to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are beginning their electrical careers or looking to expand their existing experience in commercial and industrial electrical work. The Electrical Apprentice will work under the supervision of experienced electricians, gaining hands-on experience in electrical installations, conduit bending, wiring, troubleshooting, and jobsite operations. We are looking for individuals who demonstrate a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and commitment to safety and quality craftsmanship. Key Responsibilities * Assist Journeyman Electricians and Electrical Foremen with commercial and industrial electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs. * Support the installation of electrical panels, lighting systems, receptacles, wiring, and power distribution equipment. * Assist with measuring, cutting, bending, and installing EMT, rigid, and PVC conduit. * Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. * Gain familiarity with 120V, 208V, 240V, 277V, and 480V electrical systems. * Assist with electrical testing and troubleshooting under appropriate supervision. * Follow applicable NEC, OSHA, and company safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout procedures. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. * Work collaboratively with electrical crews to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. * Participate in hands-on training and continuously develop electrical knowledge and technical skills. Required Qualifications * Interest in pursuing or advancing a career in the electrical trade. * Basic electrical knowledge or a strong willingness to learn. * Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools. * Willingness to learn conduit bending, electrical wiring, and blueprint interpretation. * Strong work ethic, dependability, and attention to detail. * Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship. * Ability to follow instructions and work effectively under supervision. * Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. * Ability to meet applicable apprenticeship registration and supervision requirements. Preferred Qualifications * Previous electrical experience in commercial, industrial, or construction environments. * Enrollment in an electrical apprenticeship or trade school program. * Familiarity with conduit installation and bending (EMT, rigid, PVC). * Basic understanding of electrical voltage systems, including 120V–480V. * Ability to read basic electrical blueprints or wiring diagrams. * Familiarity with electrical tools and testing equipment. * OSHA 10 certification.
