Electrical Apprentice

*Job Summary* Join our team as an Electrical Apprentice, where you will gain hands-on experience and invaluable skills in the electrical trade! We work in all facets of the trade, giving you hands-on experience in both residential and commercial environments. We do both new construction projects and service work. You will learn to be a well-rounded electrician. *Responsibilities* * Assist experienced electricians in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in both commercial and residential settings. * Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks effectively while ensuring adherence to safety protocols. * Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to understand project requirements. * Gain knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and apply it during installations and repairs. * Work with low voltage and high voltage systems under supervision, enhancing your technical skills. * Conduct tests using an ohmmeter to ensure proper functionality of electrical components. * Participate in construction site activities, collaborating with team members on various projects. \* * *Qualifications* * Previous experience or coursework related to electrical work is preferred but not mandatory; desire to learn and advance in your career is a requirement. * Familiarity with residential and commercial electrician practices is a plus. * Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology is a plus. * Strong commitment to safety practices on construction sites. * Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
