Electrical Apprentice

Apprentice Electrician *Company:* FM Electric Inc. *Location:* Fargo, ND *Pay:* $20.00–$30.00 per hour *Job Type:* Full-time Job Description FM Electric is a growing electrical contractor serving commercial and industrial customers throughout the Fargo area. We are looking for a motivated *Apprentice Electrician* who wants to learn the trade, work hard, and build a long-term career with our company. You will work directly with experienced journeyman electricians on a variety of commercial and industrial projects. This position is a good fit for someone who takes pride in their work, shows up reliably, and wants to continue developing their electrical skills. Responsibilities * Assist journeyman electricians with commercial and industrial electrical installations * Install conduit, boxes, supports, wire, cable, devices, and lighting * Assist with electrical panels, feeders, branch circuits, and equipment connections * Read and follow electrical drawings, specifications, and instructions * Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly * Assist with troubleshooting and electrical repairs * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Follow NEC requirements and company safety procedures * Work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work areas as required * Perform other electrical work as directed by the journeyman or project manager Qualifications * Current electrical apprentice or interested in entering the electrical trade * Previous electrical or construction experience is preferred but not required * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation * Ability to work safely and follow instructions * Willingness to learn and take direction * Dependable and able to work as part of a team * Ability to perform physical construction work, including lifting, bending, climbing, and working at heights * Basic knowledge of electrical hand tools is preferred Why FM Electric? * Competitive pay based on experience * Opportunity for advancement * Commercial and industrial project experience * Work alongside experienced electricians * Opportunity to develop into a journeyman electrician * Growing company with opportunities for employees who want additional responsibility Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour Benefits: * 401(k) * 401(k) matching * Dental insurance * Health insurance * On-the-job training * Paid time off * Vision insurance Work Location: In person
