Electrical Apprentice / Helper

*About the Position* Gillett Electric LLC is looking for dependable, motivated Electrical Apprentices and Helpers to join our growing team in Neenah, Wisconsin. We are seeking individuals who take pride in their work, have a strong work ethic, and are interested in building their skills in the electrical trade. Whether you're an experienced electrical apprentice or someone looking to enter the electrical trade for the first time, we encourage you to apply. No previous electrical experience is required. We're looking for dependable individuals who are motivated, willing to learn, and ready to work. This full-time position offers hands-on experience working alongside skilled electrcians on a variety of residential, commercial, and service projects throughout the Fox Valley Area. The ideal candidate is reliable, willing to learn, safety-conscious, able to follow directions, and works effectively as part of a team. *Duties & Responsibilities* * Assist journeyman electricians with electrical installations, repairs, maintenance, and troubleshooting. * Help install electrical wiring, conduit, fixtures, outlets, switches, panels, and related equipment under appropriate supervision. * Gather, organize, and prepare tools, materials, and equipment for job sites. * Assist with measuring, cutting, bending, and installing conduit. * Learn to read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. * Follow all applicable electrical codes, company procedures, and workplace safety requirements. * Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas. * Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials and equipment. * Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and other trades. * Perform additional electrical and general job-site tasks as assigned. *Qualifications* * Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn. * Ability to follow directions and work effectively with others. * Good communication and problem-solving skills. * Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety. * Ability to safely perform the physical requirements associated with electrical and construction work. * Valid driver's license. * Reliable transportation to work and assinged job sites. *Preferred Qualifications* * Previous electrical or construction experience. * Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools. * Basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring, or installation practices. * Enrollment in or interest in pursing an electrical apprenticeship program. *Previous electrical experience is preferred but not required.
