Electrical Apprentice

Your enthusiasm and dedication will help you build a solid foundation for a rewarding career in electrical work. *Duties* * Assist licensed electricians with installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings * Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution * Perform conduit bending, electrical wiring, and electrical system installation tasks following NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) standards and NEC (National Electrical Code) requirements * Use hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment safely and effectively * Follow strict electrical safety procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure work environment at all times * Support the setup of low voltage and high voltage electrical systems on construction sites * Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including inspection logs and compliance reports *Skills* * Prior experience with industrial or commercial electrician work is highly desirable * Strong understanding of NFPA 70 compliance, NEC standards, and electrical blueprint reading * Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, conduit benders, and electrical wiring techniques * Ability to interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams accurately * Knowledge of electrical safety procedures and protocol adherence in construction environments * Experience working with low voltage and high voltage systems on construction sites * Familiarity with using ohmmeters for testing electrical circuits and components * Construction site experience with framing carpentry is a plus but not required * Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in complex wiring projects Embark on an exciting journey into the world of electrical systems!
