Electrical Apprenticeship

We are seeking a hard working Electrical Apprentice that is self-motivated to add to our team. We receive jobs in Illinois as well as other states so *out of state travel will be required* in this position. We work in fast pace environments and are looking for someone who is prepared and motivated to get the jobs done efficiently as well as effectively. *Candidate must have 2-3 years prior experience working as an apprentice for an electrical contractor.* Experience with LED lighting retro fits would also be beneficial. You will need to have your own hand tools. We provide benefits such as health insurance, paid vacation, paid holidays and 401K with company match. *Bonus opportunities are available as well for travel.* *Key Responsibilities:* * Assist electricians installing and maintaining wiring, lighting, fans, and control systems. * Carry tools and materials to jobsites and assist with setup and cleanup. * Measure, cut, and bend conduit, wire, and cables using hand tools and power tools. * Learn to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams. * Follow all safety procedures and company policies on-site and in the shop. * Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition. * Keep work areas clean and organized. * Attend scheduling training sessions or courses as required for certifications and certain jobsites. *Requirements:* * High school diploma or equivalent. * 2-3 years of prior experience working as an apprentice. * Willingness to continue to learn and grow in this career. * Basic Knowledge of hand tools and construction safety. * Reliable transportation and punctuality. * Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. *Preferred (Not Required):* * Completion of a pre-apprenticeship or trade school program.
