Electrician and helper

*Overview* As an Electrician and Helper, you’ll install, maintain, and support electrical systems on commercial and industrial projects. You’ll work with a team to interpret plans, prepare materials, and complete electrical work safely and accurately. This hands-on role suits candidates with electrical experience as well as those ready to build practical skills while supporting experienced electricians. *Duties* * Install and assist with commercial electrical systems, wiring, and low- and high-voltage components. * Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and other project plans to guide installation. * Bend conduit, prepare work areas, and use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks. * Use a voltmeter and ohmmeter to check electrical components and support troubleshooting. * Follow electrical safety procedures, site safety protocols, the National Electrical Code (NEC), and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70 requirements. * Your impact: Careful installation and consistent safety practices help protect coworkers and keep electrical systems operating as intended. *Qualifications* * Electrical experience; industrial or commercial electrician experience is valuable. * Ability to read electrical schematics and blueprints and understand electrical systems installation. * Familiarity with electrical wiring, conduit bending, hand tools, power tools, voltmeters, and ohmmeters. * Knowledge of commercial electrical systems, low and high voltage, and electrical work practices. * Construction site experience and demonstrated safety protocol adherence are preferred. Pay: $25.44 - $30.63 per hour Work Location: In person
