Electrician - Entry Level

Description: Position Objective: To install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in a safe and efficient manner. The electrician ensures all work complies with applicable codes and standards while supporting operational reliability and minimizing downtime. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Install, inspect, and maintain electrical systems, wiring, equipment, and fixtures Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices and troubleshoot system failures Repair or replace faulty components such as circuit breakers, wiring, and panels Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes Collaborate with other trades and team members on projects Follow safety procedures and use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and maintenance schedules Other duties as assigned This position is also expected to: Work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced environment Maintain a positive, professional demeanor at all times Be very detail oriented and well organized NOTE: This job description is not to be construed in a manner which implies an individual’s right to employment. Requirements: Qualifications and Educational Requirements High school diploma/GED preferred Minimum one (1) year of relevant experience preferred Job Requirements The electrician role requires physical stamina to stand, bend, and move for extended periods throughout the day. The ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, work at heights, climb ladders, and operate in confined spaces is essential. Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and the ability to work safely in various environmental conditions are also necessary.
