Electrician Helper

Electrician Helper Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 per year. Position Summary Assist electricians and installation crews with electrical work while developing trade skills through hands-on training. This entry-level position is suited to someone who is dependable, works well with others, and enjoys practical work. Key Responsibilities · Assist electricians with installing wiring, conduit, devices, fixtures, and other electrical components. · Prepare work areas, organize materials, and transport tools and equipment. · Measure, cut, drill, pull wire, and complete other assigned tasks under supervision. · Follow instructions, ask questions when unsure, and build electrical trade knowledge. · Coordinate with other crews and trades to support safe and efficient job completion. · Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly care for tools and materials. · Use ladders and other access equipment only as trained and authorized. · Follow electrical safety procedures and report hazards promptly. · Assist around electrical systems only within assigned training and authorization; energized electrical tasks are restricted to qualified and authorized personnel. Required Qualifications · Must be at least 18 years old. · Willingness to learn; prior electrical experience is not required. · Manual dexterity and the ability to learn to use hand and power tools safely. · Comfortable working at heights with appropriate training and protective measures. · Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with electricians, other crews, and customers. · Dependability, a strong work ethic, and willingness to perform physical work. · Availability to work 40 or more hours per week, including overtime as needed. Schedule and Work Environment 40 or more hours per week based on workload and project needs. Work takes place at customer and construction sites and may involve standing, climbing, bending, kneeling, handling materials, and exposure to varying temperatures. Training and supervision are provided.
