Electrician Helper

*Job Summary* As an Electrician Helper, you’ll support electricians with installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems on commercial and construction projects. You’ll prepare work areas, handle tools and materials, and follow safety procedures while learning from experienced team members. Your impact: By helping complete electrical work safely and accurately, you support reliable systems for the people who use these buildings. *Responsibilities* * Assist with electrical systems installation, wiring, conduit bending, and low-voltage work under electrician supervision * Read electrical blueprints and interpret schematics to help plan work and locate components * Prepare and organize hand tools, power tools, materials, and equipment; keep work areas orderly * Use a voltmeter and ohmmeter as directed to support basic testing and troubleshooting * Follow electrical safety procedures, site safety protocols, and applicable National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70 requirements *Skills* * Required: Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, electrical wiring, and safe work practices; ability to follow instructions and safety protocols * Preferred: Electrical experience, including commercial or industrial electrician experience * Preferred: Construction experience or experience working on construction sites * Ability to read electrical blueprints and interpret electrical schematics; familiarity with commercial electrical systems * Knowledge of NEC, NFPA 70 compliance, low-voltage work, conduit bending, and electrical testing tools is an advantage Pay: $15.00 - $30.00 per hour Work Location: In person
