This job is your next step!*_ Touchstone Electric is a family-owned residential electrical company in Charlotte. Our crews do service work, panel and service upgrades, EV chargers, generators, surge protection, lighting and remodels. We're hiring an experienced helper who already knows their way around a residential job. You'll work alongside our electricians, take on more installs as you prove yourself, and grow toward your own installs with us. *What you'll do* - Assist on panel replacements, service upgrades, EV chargers and generators - Pull wire, mount boxes and devices, and install fixtures - Set up, organize and clean up every jobsite - Attend weekly, required Monday Meeting - Meet inspector's for on site inspections - Be respectful and professional in customers' homes *What you get* - $18–$20/hr to start - Health, dental, vision and life insurance, plus paid time off - On-the-job training and a clear path to Installer / Electrician *Requirements (please don't apply without these)* - \*\*At least 1 year working as an electrical helper on install work\*\* - \*\*Your own set of hand tools\*\* - A valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and reliable transportation - Able to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawlspaces and on ladders *We're looking for someone who:* - Shows up early and ready - Looks for the next task without being told - Is actively learning the trade, whether through school, an apprenticeship, or studying on their own -Is pushing us to get them into a truck as a full-time residential electrician *Core Values* 1.
