Electrician Helper

Job description We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in a variety of settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in both industrial and commercial environments and demonstrate proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and electrical testing equipment. A strong understanding of electrical codes and the ability to read blueprints and schematics are essential. This position requires travel to various jobsites throughout South Florida. Duties * Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in compliance with NEC standards. * Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters. * Perform low voltage and high voltage wiring tasks as required. * Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine layout of electrical systems. * Collaborate with construction teams to ensure electrical installations meet project specifications. * Conduct routine inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs. * Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively on construction sites. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols. Skills * Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician. * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, ammeters, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment. * Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) regulations. * Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately. * Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of construction practices. * Familiarity with low voltage and high voltage systems. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
