Entry-Level CNC Machinist / Machinist Trainee

*Blue Chip Machine & Tool* is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our team as an Entry-Level CNC Machinist / Machinist Trainee. *Previous CNC machining experience is helpful but not required.* We are willing to train the right person who has a strong work ethic, shows up consistently, and is interested in learning the machining trade. *Responsibilities* * Assist with setup and operation of CNC machines * Load and unload parts and materials * Perform basic part inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools * Read and follow shop drawings, work instructions, and job travelers * Monitor machines during production and identify potential problems * Deburr and inspect finished parts * Keep machines and work areas clean and organized * Learn CNC machining, tooling, setups, and manufacturing processes from experienced machinists * Follow all shop safety and quality procedures *Qualifications* * Little to no previous CNC machining experience required * Mechanically inclined and comfortable working with tools and machinery * Basic math skills * Ability to read a tape measure and learn precision measuring equipment * Dependable and able to arrive at work on time * Willingness to learn and take direction * Attention to detail * Ability to work independently once trained * Previous manufacturing, automotive, mechanical, maintenance, or trade-school experience is a plus *What We're Looking For* We are looking for someone who wants to *learn a skilled trade and grow with the company*.
