Entry Level Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities: * Utilize basic electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical skills * Perform equipment maintenance including cleaning, inspecting, and repairing fork lifts, cranes, mills, lathes, saws, and general shop equipment * Maintain fluid levels, assist on major repairs, and complete other miscellaneous repairs independently * Replace light bulbs, switches, outlets, belts, oil filters, hoses, and more * Inspect and maintain industrial equipment, work spaces, offices, and bathrooms * Assist in shop organization including, tooling, floors, and other general cleaning * Follow job instructions and all safety rules at all times * Maintain detailed records for logs and inspections Qualifications and Requirements: * Knowledge of a wide variety of maintenance trades to visually inspect and detect items requiring repair or maintenance * Prefer a minimum of 1 year of general maintenance or shop experience * Ability to climb ladders up to 20 feet high and reach in all directions, often overhead * Ability to use basic hand and power tools for maintenance tasks * Lift, push, and pull weight of up to 80 lbs as required * Ability to stand, sit, crouch, bend, stoop, kneel, reach, grasp, push/pull, and lift/carry items frequently throughout the day * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team * Valid driver’s license with good record Benefits: * Health Insurance – Company pays 85% of employee AND dependents' premium * Vision Insurance – Company pays 100% of employee AND dependents' premium * Dental Insurance – Company pays 49% of employee AND dependents’ premium * Retirement Plan w/Company Match * Paid Time Off * Disability Insurance * All benefits available after completion of probationary period.
