Entry-Level Maintenance Technician

*Entry-Level Maintenance Technician* *Position Summary* The Entry-Level Maintenance Technician assists with the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of equipment, machinery, buildings, and facility systems. This position is ideal for someone who is mechanically inclined, dependable, willing to learn, and interested in developing maintenance skills. *Key Responsibilities* * Perform basic maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility systems. * Assist experienced maintenance personnel with troubleshooting and repairs. * Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance. * Use basic hand and power tools safely. * Help keep the maintenance shop and work areas clean and organized. * Report equipment problems, safety hazards, and needed repairs. * Follow company safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements. * Complete maintenance work orders and basic documentation. * Assist with other maintenance duties as assigned. *Qualifications* * High school diploma or equivalent preferred. * Basic mechanical or maintenance knowledge preferred. * Ability to use basic hand and power tools. * Willingness to learn new skills and procedures. * Good communication and problem-solving skills. * Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic. * Ability to work safely around machinery and industrial equipment. * Previous maintenance, mechanical, agricultural, or industrial experience is helpful but not required. *Physical Requirements* * Ability to lift and carry materials and tools. * Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and work in various positions. * Ability to work in an industrial environment and around dust, noise, temperature changes, and machinery. * Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). *Work Environment* This position may involve working indoors and outdoors, around machinery, electrical equipment, moving equipment, and other industrial systems.
