This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their expertise in HVAC technology while delivering exceptional customer service and property maintenance. *Duties* * Perform routine HVAC system maintenance to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency * Troubleshoot mechanical systems, electrical components, refrigeration units, and plumbing issues using hand tools and diagnostic equipment such as ohmmeters * Conduct repairs on HVAC air conditioning units * Support service technicians in diagnosing electrical faults and mechanical failures through electrical diagnostics and equipment troubleshooting * Maintain detailed records of service activities, inspections, and repairs for property maintenance documentation * Ensure compliance with safety standards including EPA regulations for refrigerants and proper handling of ammonia refrigeration systems *Experience* * Construction experience or prior exposure to mechanical or property maintenance work is highly desirable * Service technician experience in HVAC or related fields is a plus but not required; training will be provided * Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, and mechanical systems repair enhances your ability to succeed in this role * Basic knowledge of electrical systems and HVAC/R components such as boilers and refrigeration units is advantageous * Ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks * Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record preferred for van driving responsibilities * Strong customer service skills with a proactive attitude toward learning and problem-solving This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical expertise while contributing to building comfort and safety.
