Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Apprentice

Overview: We are seeking a motivated and dependable HVAC Apprentice to join our team. This position is designed for individuals who are eager to learn the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning trade through hands-on experience, technical training, and mentorship. The apprentice will assist experienced technicians with service, repair, and installation of residential and light commercial HVAC systems while developing the skills necessary to become a certified HVAC Technician. Key Responsibilities: * Assist senior technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems (furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, ductwork, etc.). * Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment at job sites. * Perform basic measurements, pipe cutting, insulation, and duct assembly under supervision. * Maintain a clean and safe work environment, both on job sites and in company vehicles. * Observe and follow all company safety policies and OSHA regulations. * Help diagnose system performance issues by checking pressures, temperatures, and electrical components (as training progresses). * Document work performed, parts used, and time spent on service tickets. * Participate in ongoing education and training programs provided by the company. * Exhibit professionalism and respect when communicating with customers and team members. Qualifications: * High school diploma or GED (required). * Valid driver’s license * Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn a skilled trade. * Ability to lift 75+ lbs and work in confined spaces, attics, and outdoors in various weather conditions. * Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety. * Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
