Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Helper

Buddy’s Electrical & A/C is a locally established company providing quality electrical, heating, and air conditioning services. We are looking for a dependable, hardworking HVAC Helper to assist our experienced technicians with installations, maintenance, and repairs. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in learning the HVAC trade, gaining hands-on experience, and developing a long-term career. Key Responsibilities * Assist HVAC technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of heating and cooling systems. * Load, unload, and transport tools, equipment, and materials to job sites. * Prepare and clean work areas before and after completing jobs. * Learn basic HVAC troubleshooting, equipment operation, and installation procedures. * Follow company safety policies and maintain a safe working environment. * Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications * High school diploma or GED preferred. * Previous HVAC or construction experience is a plus but not required. * Basic knowledge of hand and power tools preferred. * Ability to lift and carry equipment and perform physical work in attics, confined spaces, and outdoor conditions. * Dependable, punctual, and willing to learn. * Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with a team. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week Experience: * HVAC: 1 year (Preferred) Language: * English (Preferred) Ability to Commute: * New Iberia, LA 70560 (Required) Work Location: In person
