Helper Plumbing Service (2025-1073) Role Overview • We are seeking a motivated and dependable Plumbing Helper – Service to join our team. In this entry-level role, you will assist licensed plumbers on residential and/or commercial service calls. You’ll gain hands-on experience by helping troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plumbing systems while learning industry best practices. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, is mechanically inclined, and is interested in starting a long-term career in the plumbing trade. What You Bring • High school diploma or GED required. - Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn plumbing service skills. - Ability to use hand and power tools safely. - Dependable, punctual, and able to follow directions. - Strong teamwork and customer-service skills. - Physically able to lift 50+ lbs., work in confined spaces, and tolerate varying weather conditions. - Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required. - Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings or weekends as service needs require. Key Responsibilities • Assist plumbers with diagnosing and repairing leaks, clogs, and other plumbing issues. - Help replace or install fixtures such as faucets, toilets, sinks, and disposals. - Support preventive maintenance tasks including water heater flushing, filter changes, and pipe inspections. - Prepare, load, and organize tools, parts, and materials needed for daily service calls. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, service vehicle, and tools. - Follow company safety guidelines and OSHA requirements on all job sites. - Provide courteous and professional support to customers while on site. - Learn plumbing techniques, codes, and service skills through on-the-job training and mentorship.
