HVAC Apprentice/Helper

We are seeking an hvac technician/plumber/general laborer to join our team. Woods Heating & Cooling does heating, cooling and plumbing all across South Dakota. This would be a great opportunity to log hours under a master plumber to get your own plunging license and also learn the hvac trade. Job duties include install and maintenance of residential heating, cooling, plumbing, floor heat and geothermal systems. Must be willing to travel Pay is $18-$35/hr+ depending on experience. Call McKinley at 605-861-9592 *Responsibilities* * Install HVAC systems according to specifications and schematics. * Perform routine maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC equipment. * Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heating and cooling systems. * Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations. * Provide exceptional customer service while interacting with clients on-site. * Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used. * Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. *Skills* * Proficient in reading and interpreting schematics related to HVAC systems. * Strong knowledge of air conditioning systems and their components. * Ability to plumb, build, and install various HVAC equipment. * Experience in field service roles, particularly in equipment repair and maintenance. * Familiarity with appliance repair techniques is a plus. * Previous experience as a service technician or mechanic is highly desirable. * Excellent communication skills and a customer-oriented mindset. * Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
