Project: LS GreenLink / Genesis Project Location: Chesapeake, VA Job Type: Full-Time, Project-Based Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour Expected Project Duration: 8 Months to 1 Year *Job Summary*A1 Construction Group is seeking reliable and motivated Industrial Construction Helpers to support our field crews on a large industrial construction project in Chesapeake, Virginia.Successful candidates will assist with: * Process Piping Installation * Plumbing System Installation * Pipe Rack Installation * Pipe Support System Installation * Material Handling and General Construction Activities This position offers a stable project duration, consistent work schedule, and opportunities to gain experience in industrial construction. *Work Schedule* * Approximately 40 hours per week * Monday through Friday * Overtime is generally not expected * Day Shift *Responsibilities* * Assist plumbers and pipefitters with installation activities * Assist with process piping installation * Assist with plumbing system installation * Assist with pipe rack and support system installation * Load, unload, transport, and organize materials * Maintain clean and safe work areas * Operate basic hand and power tools * Follow all project safety requirements and procedures * Perform general construction labor duties as assigned *QualificationsRequired* * Ability to work in an industrial construction environment * Ability to lift and carry construction materials * Reliable transportation * Good attendance and work ethic * Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team *Preferred* * Construction experience * Industrial construction experience * Plumbing experience * Pipefitting experience * Pipe rack or support system experience * OSHA 10 Certification Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: No more than 40.0 per week Work Location: In person
