Junior Diesel Technician / Shop Helper - Wash Bay & Tires - Will Train

*About the job* Liberty Truck Lines runs a fleet of 2026 Freightliner Cascadias out of our own truck shop in Fairfield, OH. We're looking for a hard-working junior technician who wants to grow into a diesel mechanic. No experience? No problem. If you're reliable and ready to learn, we'll train you. *What you'll do* * Wash and clean trucks and trailers in our wash bay * Mount, dismount and change truck and trailer tires * Check tire pressure, tread and lights during inspections * Help our mechanics with repairs and replace basic parts such as filters, lights, brakes and air lines * Keep the shop and wash bay clean, organized and safe *Pay and growth* * $16–$17/hr to start for beginners * Up to $30/hr for candidates with tire, PM or diesel repair experience * Raises as you learn new skills, with a clear path from shop helper to diesel technician *What we're looking for* * Willing to learn and take direction * Reliable and on time * Able to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet, indoors and outdoors * Valid driver's license * Tire, shop or mechanical experience is a plus, not required * Own basic hand tools is a plus *How to apply* Apply on Indeed.
