*Job Overview* As a Mechanic Helper, you’ll support mechanics with inspection, maintenance, and repair of vehicles. You’ll prepare work areas, gather tools, assist with repairs, and help keep equipment ready for safe operation. Work may involve automotive repairs, vehicle maintenance and inspections, tires and alignments. *Responsibilities* * Assist with vehicle maintenance, equipment repair, assembly, and mechanical systems repair using hand and power tools. * Help inspect and service engines, transmissions, brakes, air brakes, suspension, shocks and struts, tires, alignments, hydraulics, HVAC, and electrical systems. * Help maintain a clean, organized work area; move parts and equipment and perform heavy lifting as needed. *Experience* * Mechanical knowledge and mechanic, service technician, vehicle maintenance, equipment maintenance, or maintenance experience are helpful. * Customer service experience is beneficial.
