As a Plumbing Apprentice, you will work directly under the supervision of a Licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber, receiving comprehensive *on-the-job training* and mentorship. You will be an essential part of our team, assisting with a wide range of residential and commercial plumbing projects. What You Will Learn & Do (Primary Responsibilities) * *Hands-On Assistance:* Directly support licensed plumbers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of water, drain, waste, and vent systems. * *Fixture Installation:* Assist in the proper installation of plumbing fixtures such as sinks, toilets, faucets, water heaters, and garbage disposals. * *Compliance & Safety:* Learn and strictly adhere to all federal, state, and local plumbing codes, safety regulations, and company procedures. * *Tool & Equipment Management:* Properly handle, maintain, and clean tools, equipment, and company vehicles. * *Customer Service:* Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, maintaining a clean and organized job site. * *Material Prep:* Load and unload materials and supplies, ensuring the work site is stocked and prepared for the job. Qualifications & Requirements * High school diploma or GED equivalent. * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. * Willingness and eagerness to learn a skilled trade and commit to a multi-year apprenticeship program. * Basic understanding and familiarity with plumbing systems. * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to [e.g., 50-75] lbs., climbing ladders, and working in confined spaces. * Strong work ethic, punctuality, and a dependable nature. * Excellent communication and professional customer service skills. * A positive attitude and a team-player mentality. * Attention to detail, making sure the job is completed correctly prior to leaving job site in time frame agreed upon and to the foreman's satisfaction.
