Plumbing Apprentice/Helper

Juck's Plumbing is seeking a Plumbing Apprentice/Helper to support the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and light commercial plumbing systems in Lincoln, RI. Position Summary The Plumbing Apprentice/Helper assists plumbers and job leads with hands-on plumbing work while learning the trade through daily tasks, jobsite support, and structured on-the-job training. This role is ideal for someone who is safety-minded, dependable, and eager to grow into more skilled plumbing responsibilities over time. You will work as part of a team to help ensure plumbing systems are installed and repaired correctly, leaving customers with safe, functional results. Strong communication and a willingness to learn are essential. Key Responsibilities Assist licensed plumbers with plumbing installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks under supervision Support jobsite preparation by gathering materials, setting up work areas, and maintaining organized workspaces Perform basic plumbing tasks such as cutting, fitting, and assembling components as directed Help diagnose issues by observing work conditions, reporting findings, and assisting with troubleshooting Follow safety procedures, use tools responsibly, and ensure job materials and tools are properly stored Required Qualifications Willingness to learn plumbing skills and take direction from experienced team members Ability to work onsite in Lincoln, RI and complete essential physical tasks required for plumbing work Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort using common hand and power tools Strong attention to detail and a commitment to workplace safety Reliable attendance and a team-oriented, dependable attitude Preferred Qualifications Some prior experience assisting with maintenance, construction, or trade-related work Familiarity with common plumbing components and basic installation concepts Previous work history demonstrating punctuality, responsibility, and quality workmanship Comfort working in residential or light commercial environments
