If you’re eager to develop your mechanical knowledge and gain practical construction site experience, this role is perfect for you! *Responsibilities* * Assist experienced plumbers with pipe installation, fitting, and repair tasks on construction sites * Support the setup and operation of power tools and hand tools safely and effectively * Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and building codes to aid in project execution * Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring adherence to safety protocols at all times * Help with plumbing system maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting as directed * Participate in site inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and building regulations * Learn to operate pipe threading machines and other specialized plumbing tools under supervision *Experience* * Prior construction experience or familiarity with construction sites is preferred but not required * Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, remodeling, or handyman work is a plus * Strong attention to detail with good hand-eye coordination for working with hand tools and power tools * Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to pipe fitting and installation * Commitment to safety protocol adherence and understanding of power tool safety practices This paid apprenticeship provides an excellent foundation for anyone passionate about building a career in plumbing.
