Be Part of a Team.* Kitchen & Bath Design is a growing, family-owned remodeling company seeking a dependable and motivated *Residential Remodeling Carpenter Apprentice* to join our team. We specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodels, custom cabinetry, built-ins, basements, and other residential renovations throughout Lake and Cuyahoga counties. This position offers hands-on experience across a variety of remodeling projects while working closely with our project manager and experienced carpenters. In addition to assisting with construction and installation, this role helps keep projects running smoothly through demolition, material pickups, cabinetry deliveries, jobsite preparation, and other daily tasks. *What We Offer* * Competitive pay of *$18–$25 per hour*, based on experience * Full-time employment with a family-owned remodeling company * Hands-on experience in residential remodeling and construction * Opportunities to develop carpentry, cabinetry installation, and finish-work skills * Exposure to custom, Amish-built cabinetry and quality materials * Daily communication and guidance from the project manager and experienced team members * A variety of projects, including kitchens, bathrooms, built-ins, and basement renovations * The opportunity to grow your knowledge and experience in the remodeling industry *Job Responsibilities* * Assist the lead carpenter with residential remodeling projects and daily construction tasks. * Perform demolition work, including removing existing cabinets, countertops, flooring, fixtures, drywall, and other materials as directed. * Help prepare jobsites for remodeling and assist with debris removal and cleanup. * Assist with cabinet installation, flooring, drywall, trim, finish carpentry, and other remodeling work. * Help move, load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment. * Drive a company vehicle, including a box truck or Sprinter van, for material pickups, cabinetry deliveries, and jobsite transportation. * Run errands related to project needs, including picking up supplies and materials from vendors. * Help receive, inspect, and organize deliveries and report damaged or missing items. * Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites, vehicles, and work areas. * Communicate daily with the project manager and lead carpenter regarding assignments, materials, and project needs. * Treat customers, their homes, and their property with respect and professionalism. * Perform general labor and other related tasks to support the successful completion of remodeling projects. *Qualifications* * Interest in residential remodeling, carpentry, or the construction trades * Previous construction or hands-on work experience preferred, but not required for the right candidate * Willingness to learn new skills and follow instructions * Dependable, punctual, and motivated, with a strong work ethic * Good communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills * Ability to work cooperatively with the project manager and other team members * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation * Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company requirements for operating a company vehicle * Ability to safely lift, carry, and move building materials, cabinetry, and demolition debris as required * Ability to use basic hand tools * Professional demeanor and respect for customers and their homes * High school diploma or equivalent preferred *Join Our Team* At Kitchen & Bath Design, quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction go hand in hand.
