Sheet Metal Apprentice $20-$30

*Job Summary* We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Sheet Metal Apprentice works under the direct supervision of licensed journeymen or master technicians to learn the trade of fabricating, assembling, installing, and repairing thin-metal products and commercial HVAC duct systems. * *Installation Support:* Assist with hanging, securing, and modifying commercial HVAC ductwork, grilles, diffusers, hoods, and ventilation components. * *Fabrication & Assembly:* Measure, cut, bend, solder, weld, rivet, or bolt sheet metal components according to project layouts. * *Job Site Support:* Offload, sort, and organize materials, tools, and equipment on construction or renovation sites. * *Blueprint & Layout Assistance:* Learn to read and interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and building plans. * *Safety & Compliance:* Follow OSHA guidelines, wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain clean, hazard-free work area *Qualifications & Requirements* * *Education:* High school diploma or GED equivalent. * *Physical Stamina:* Ability to stand, climb, crawl, bend, work at heights or in tight spaces, and lift heavy materials (frequently 50 lbs or more). * *Technical Aptitude:* Basic math and measuring skills, willingness to learn hand/power tools, and basic mechanical aptitude. * *Licenses:* Valid driver's license with a reliable or insurable driving record (often required for travel to job sites).
