Shop Helper/ Entry-Level Auto Body Technician

Preferred Truck & Paintworks LLC Location: Center Barnstead, NH Position: Full-Time Preferred Truck & Paintworks is looking for a dependable, hardworking individual to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to get started in the auto body industry or gain hands-on experience working on commercial trucks and equipment. Job Responsibilities: -Sandblasting and preparing trucks and equipment for paint -Sanding, grinding, masking, and general paint preparation -Assisting technicians with disassembly and reassembly -Cleaning and organizing the shop and work areas -Helping with general body shop operations -Learning proper repair and refinishing procedures Requirements: -Must be dependable and show up ready to work -Strong work ethic and willingness to learn -Attention to detail and ability to follow directions -Must have basic hand tools -Ability to work independently and as part of a team -Previous automotive experience is a plus but not required What We Offer: -Competitive pay based on experience -On-the-job training -Opportunity to advance into a skilled auto body technician position -Tool and boot allowances -Steady, full-time work -Opportunity to grow with an established and expanding business We’re looking for someone who takes pride in their work, isn’t afraid to get dirty, and wants to learn a trade.
