What We're Looking For How you work matters as much as what you already know. The right person: • Takes pride in keeping things clean and organized. • Notices what needs attention and gets after it. • Is comfortable doing routine work like cleaning, organizing, and pressure washing. • Can work independently without needing constant direction. • Shows up reliably and ready to work. • Follows instructions and pays attention to details. • Accepts coaching and isn't afraid to ask questions. • Takes care of tools and equipment. • Has a genuine interest in developing into a mechanic. What You'll Have the Opportunity to Learn As you demonstrate reliability and ability, you'll have opportunities to develop skills in preventive maintenance, diesel and gas equipment, electrical systems, hydraulics, inspections, troubleshooting, and mechanical repair. Minimum Qualifications • Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and confidence operating company vehicles for local parts runs, deliveries, and jobsite support. • Ability to perform physical shop work, including standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting approximately 50 lbs. • Willingness to work in an active repair-shop environment. • Dependable attendance and a willingness to learn. • Previous mechanical experience is helpful but not required. Why Dan-Kel? This is an opportunity to get your foot in the door of the mechanic trade and learn from experienced people while making a real contribution from day one.
