This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is mechanically inclined, enjoys working with their hands, and wants to build a career in the heavy equipment repair industry. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude. You will start with basic equipment maintenance, rental inspections, and assisting our experienced shop mechanics. As your skills and knowledge develop, you will be given opportunities to take on more advanced repairs and responsibilities. *Responsibilities* * Perform rental equipment check-ins and document equipment condition upon return. * Complete rental make-ready's to ensure equipment is clean, inspected, serviced, and ready for the next customer. * Perform basic preventative maintenance, including oil changes, filter replacements, and greasing forklifts and other equipment. * Assist experienced shop mechanics with repairs and troubleshooting. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environment. * Learn proper equipment inspection, maintenance, and repair procedures. * As experience progresses, begin performing more advanced repairs, including hydraulic cylinder removal, resealing, and installation, and more! * Take on additional mechanical responsibilities as skills and abilities improve. Qualifications * Basic mechanical knowledge or experience preferred. * Mechanically inclined with an interest in learning equipment repair. * Ability to use basic hand tools and power tools. * Dependable, punctual, and willing to work. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. * Willingness to learn from experienced mechanics. * Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. * Previous automotive, diesel, or equipment maintenance experience is a plus.
