We are seeking dependable, motivated individuals to join our growing team as Solar Service Technicians. No previous solar experience is necessary. We are willing to train the right candidate. The ideal candidate is reliable, hardworking, eager to learn, and comfortable working with their hands. Key Responsibilities * Assist with the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential solar systems. * Learn to inspect, service, and replace solar panels, inverters, optimizers, microinverters, and related equipment. * Assist experienced technicians with identifying and resolving system performance issues. * Perform routine system inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment replacements. * Learn to troubleshoot battery storage and backup power systems. * Assist with manufacturer warranty repairs and equipment replacements. * Learn to use solar monitoring platforms and diagnostic tools. * Follow instructions, technical documentation, and company procedures. * Document completed work and report equipment concerns to supervisors. * Communicate professionally with customers and team members. * Follow OSHA standards and company safety procedures. * Travel to residential customer locations within assigned service areas. Qualifications * No previous solar or electrical experience necessary. * Willingness to learn new skills and participate in hands-on training. * Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. * Ability to work safely on rooftops, climb ladders, and perform physically demanding tasks. * Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. * Ability to use basic hand tools or willingness to learn. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions. * Dependable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship. * Positive attitude and ability to work independently or as part of a team. * Willingness to travel to customer locations as needed. Additional Experience Experience in any of the following areas is a plus but not necessary: * Construction, roofing, electrical work, HVAC, or general maintenance. * Basic hand tools and power tools. * Outdoor work or physical labor. * Mechanical troubleshooting or equipment maintenance. * Solar equipment manufacturers such as SolarEdge, Enphase, or Generac. * OSHA training or relevant safety certifications.
