Welder/Fitter/Helper

The Weld Shop Helper assists with daily operations in a fence fabrication shop. This role supports welders by preparing materials, operating power tools, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. *Duties and Responsibilities:* * Assist in the fabrication of metal fences and gates * Measure, cut, and prepare materials. * Operate power tools and shop equipment * Support welders with setup and general tasks * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Follow all safety procedures and guidelines *Required Qualifications:* * Reliable and punctual with consistent attendance * Must have dependable transportation * Ability to read a tape measure accurately * Experience using power tools * Ability to work safely and efficiently * Strong work ethic and attention to detail *Preferred Qualifications:* * Welding experience (MIG preferred) * Previous experience in a fabrication, fencing, or construction environment *Physical Requirements:* * Ability to lift and carry materials * Ability to stand for extended periods * Comfortable working in a shop environment *Work Environment:* This position operates in a fabrication shop setting with exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures. Monday - Thursday 8:00am - 5:00pm Friday 8:00am - 3:00pm Pay based on experience.
