*Yard Laborer & Welder Helper - Full-Time* *Hasse Contracting Co., Inc.* is seeking a dependable and hardworking *Yard Associate* to support daily yard and warehouse operations. This position is ideal for individuals who prioritize safety, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in an outdoor environment. The Yard Associate plays a key role in maintaining organized inventory, assisting with shipping and receiving, and ensuring materials and equipment are ready for project needs. *Key Responsibilities:* * Assist welders with preparation and setup of welding equipment and materials. * Clean, grind, and prepare metal surfaces before welding. * Hold and position materials during fitting and welding operations. * Assist with measuring, cutting, and fitting metal components. * Remove slag, burrs, and excess weld material using hand and power tools. * Assist with inventory control and material staging. * Sort, stack, and store metal, pipe, and other materials. * Perform general labor tasks including sweeping, lifting, and site cleanup. *Qualifications:* * Basic computer and internet skills * Ability to lift up to 75 pounds occasionally and 50 pounds regularly * Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred * Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check *Schedule:* Monday-Friday *Pay:* $18.00 per hour (DOE) *Location:* 6613 Edith Blvd. NE, Albuquerque, NM 87113 *Why Join Hasse Contracting?* * Competitive pay * Stable full-time schedule * Advancement opportunities * Safety-focused and team-oriented work environment Apply today and become part of a growing team committed to excellence, safety, and service.
