Apprentice Plumber

*Job Overview* We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Apprentice Plumber to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start a career in plumbing and construction. As an Apprentice Plumber, you will work under the supervision of experienced plumbers, gaining hands-on experience and learning the essential skills required in the plumbing industry. You will be involved in various tasks related to construction plumbing, wet side mechanical systems, and more. *Responsibilities* * Assist in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems and fixtures. * Utilize hand tools effectively for various plumbing tasks. * Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to understand project requirements. * Participate in pipe threading and fitting processes. * Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion. * Support experienced plumbers in troubleshooting issues with plumbing systems. * Maintain a clean and organized work area on construction sites. * Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment. *Qualifications* * Basic understanding of hand tools and their applications in plumbing tasks. * Familiarity with wet side mechanical systems is a plus. * Strong basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to plumbing work. * Ability to read schematics and blueprints accurately. * Previous experience or knowledge in construction plumbing is preferred but not required. * A background in carpentry or maintenance person work can be beneficial. * Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced professionals. * Ability to work effectively as part of a team on construction sites.
