Carpenter Apprentice (Remodels and Residential Improvements)

*Job Summary* We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Carpenter Apprentice to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will gain hands-on experience in residential carpentry projects, assisting skilled carpenters with a variety of tasks that build beautiful, functional homes. Your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn will be key as you support the team in delivering exceptional craftsmanship on every project. *Responsibilities* * Assist experienced carpenters with constructing, installing, and repairing residential structures using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. * Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution. * Perform tasks such as framing, siding installation, door hanging, flooring installation, tile laying, and fixture installation. * Support demolition, restoration, water damage remediation, mold remediation, and remodeling projects as needed. * Prepare construction sites by measuring, cutting, assembling materials, and performing heavy lifting tasks. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment while following all safety guidelines related to power tools and construction site procedures. *Qualifications* * Basic knowledge of carpentry principles including framing, trim carpentry, and woodworking techniques. * Experience working with hand tools and power tools for woodworking; safety training on power tools is a plus. * Prior construction site experience or residential carpentry exposure is highly desirable. * Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on active job sites. * Strong attention to detail with good interpretive skills for technical plans and drawings. * Enthusiasm for learning new skills within the construction industry and a proactive attitude toward teamwork.
