Driver/ Electrical Helper

*Job Overview* As a Driver/Electrical Helper, you’ll keep deliveries moving safely and support electrical work by transporting materials, preparing loads, and assisting the team on site. You’ll drive a box truck, van, or other assigned vehicle, follow delivery routes, and help load and unload equipment. This hands-on role suits someone who enjoys driving, warehouse operations, and practical teamwork. *Duties* * Drive assigned routes and make deliveries using a company vehicle; personal vehicle delivery may be needed if specified for the role. * Follow traffic rules and applicable Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations; use mobile devices as directed for route and delivery updates. * Load and unload materials, organize cargo, and use a pallet jack or other material handling equipment when trained and authorized. * Assist electrical staff with moving and staging materials, using safe lifting practices and following workplace weight-handling procedures. * Provide courteous customer service and communicate clearly about deliveries and job-site needs. *Your impact:* Safe, dependable deliveries help electrical teams stay supplied and customers receive materials when expected. *Qualifications* * Required: Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record; ability to follow traffic regulations and handle delivery responsibilities. * Preferred: Delivery driver, courier, van driver, or commercial truck driving experience, including box truck or manual-transmission vehicles. * Warehouse experience, warehouse operations, and material handling equipment operation are helpful. * Able to perform manual handling, moving, and heavy lifting safely, with attention to load weight and proper lifting practices. * Customer service skills, route driving experience, and familiarity with DOT regulations are valued.
