Here's What You May Want to Know. 1) What types of projects will I work on? You'll have the opportunity to work on a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial projects. No two jobs are exactly alike, giving you the chance to gain experience in different environments and types of electrical work. 2) What will my responsibilities be when I start? You'll assist electricians with daily job duties, including preparing materials, pulling wire, installing electrical boxes, helping with conduit work, and keeping work areas clean and organized. Your responsibilities will grow as you gain experience. 3) What electrical skills can I develop? You'll learn practical skills such as conduit bending, wire installation, mounting electrical devices, working with electrical panels, and understanding electrical drawings and blueprints. 4) Will I get to work with experienced electricians? Absolutely. You'll work alongside experienced members of our team who can help you learn proper installation methods, job-site procedures, and safe work practices. 5) What if I've never worked in the electrical field before?That's okay! Previous electrical experience is beneficial, but we're willing to consider applicants who are new to the trade. Having a good attitude, showing up consistently/ontime, and being willing to learn are important. 6.)What kind of schedule and work environment should I expect? This is a full-time, year-round position. You'll work at different job sites depending on our current projects. Some overtime may be available depending on the workload. 7) What can I earn in this position? The expected annual pay range is $31,000–$54,000, depending on your experience, qualifications, and developing skill level.
