Electrician Helper - Residential

Fixmatic Electric is looking for a dependable, hardworking *Electrical Helper* who wants to learn the electrical trade and build a career. *No electrical experience is required.* We are willing to train the right person. This is a hands-on position working alongside experienced electricians on residential electrical repairs, upgrades, and installations. What You'll Do * Assist electricians with residential electrical projects * Carry, organize, and prepare tools and materials * Help run and pull wire * Assist with installing electrical boxes, devices, lighting, and equipment * Help with panel replacements and electrical upgrades * Set up and clean up job sites * Keep trucks, tools, and materials organized * Pick up materials when needed * Protect customers' homes and keep work areas clean * Learn proper electrical installation methods and safe work practices * Follow instructions from lead electricians and supervisors What We're Looking For You *do not need electrical experience*, but you do need to bring the right attitude. We're looking for someone who: * Shows up on time, every day * Is dependable and hardworking * Wants to learn a skilled trade * Can follow instructions * Takes pride in doing things correctly * Is comfortable working with tools * Can work on ladders and in attics/crawl spaces when necessary * Can perform the physical requirements of residential electrical work * Keeps a clean and professional appearance * Treats customers and their homes with respect * Works well as part of a team Requirements * Valid driver's license * Good driving record * Reliable transportation to work * Ability to safely perform physical work throughout the day * Willingness to learn and receive coaching * Electrical or construction experience is a plus, *but not required* Compensation *$15–$20 per hour*, depending on experience, ability, and performance.
