Entry-Level Automotive Body Technician/Paint Preparation Technician

*Job Summary* We are looking for a dependable, motivated individual to assist with our body and paint departments with vehicle preparation and general shop duties. Start your automotive career as an Entry-Level Automotive Body Technician/Paint Preparation Technician! You’ll prepare vehicle surfaces and support body repair and refinishing work, building practical skills while helping restore vehicles to a clean, finished condition. This hands-on role calls for care, safe work habits, and a willingness to learn. *Duties* * Prepare vehicles for refinishing by sanding, masking, and cleaning surfaces; apply paints and coatings with spray guns as directed. * Support auto body repair, restoration, and automotive body refinishing using hand tools, power tools, and grinders. * Assist with conventional spraying, automotive buffing, and detailing as assigned. * Follow respiratory protection requirements and safe procedures when handling tools, paints, and vehicle components. * Your impact: Careful surface preparation helps technicians achieve a consistent finish and gives customers vehicles that are ready for the road. *Experience* * Entry-level applicants are encouraged to apply. * Autobody knowledge and familiarity with hand tools are necessary. Welding, auto glass, and auto estimating experience are also useful. * Dealership, schooling, or equivalent experience and familiarity with painting and coating spray guns, sanding, masking, or auto restoration are required. * Customer service skills and attention to detail support clear communication and quality work.
